The first-ever West Africa Music and Arts Festival (WAMAFest) celebrates the region’s diverse cultural heritage through music and art.

The festival collaborates with Warner Music, the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), and other local businesses in Ghana and the US.

WAMAFest commenced on Wednesday (19 June) in Accra at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park.

The festival is set to end on Saturday (22 June). The last day’s session will be celebrated with a Juneteenth parade at the W E B Dubois Centre and a WAMAFest AREA CODE at the University of Ghana.
