Two suspected landguards, Richard Kwevi, aka “Agenda,” and Samuel Okyere, aka “Kwadie Dede Aquard,” have been taken into custody by the Kasoa Ofaakor District Police Command in the Central Region for allegedly stabbing two individuals without provocation.
The victims are currently receiving treatment at the Kasoa Polyclinic and are in critical condition.
According to Ntiamoah Ahenkorah, Chairman of the Landlords Association and a friend of one of the victims, the landguards confronted them and demanded they accompany them to One Nai Atopi’s Palace.
When they refused, the suspects allegedly attacked them, sparking an altercation.
In the heat of the confrontation, one of the suspects allegedly brandished a jackknife, inflicting stab wounds on one of the victims, while also unleashing a barrage of severe beatings on them.
In a related development, One Nai Atopi has issued a statement disassociating from any connection to the incident, asserting that he does not know the suspects and has no affiliation with them whatsoever.
