The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued a statement confirming that authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with the tragic death of Joana Yabani, a final-year Biological Sciences student, which occurred earlier today.
The report according to the University states, the suspect was identified and arrested following a review of CCTV footage.
Upon apprehension, the suspect was discovered wearing identical clothing to that visible in the footage captured during the commission of the crime.
Also, the suspect has been identified as a fellow student who resides in the same hostel as the deceased.
