Emelia Ankomah, the Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East, is urging all duty-bearers in her constituency to enhance their efforts and provide exceptional services to the community. She aims to see a focus on excellence in service delivery, ensuring that the people in her constituency receive the best possible support and resources.

Her statements were made during a working tour of government agencies within her constituency, where she engaged with officials and employees. This visit marked her first since her decisive victory in the 2024 elections. It included stops at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), the Fire Service Department, the Ghana Highway Authority, the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), the National Ambulance Service, and the Department of Labour.

Hon. Ankomah emphasised that her visits had two primary objectives: first, to gain a deeper understanding of the operations of various agencies, and second, to strengthen ties between her office and these institutions. She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting them and encouraged them to reach out to her office for assistance in improving service delivery.

Additionally, she visited several churches in the constituency to express her gratitude to God for His protection and for granting her victory in the general elections. She acknowledged the crucial role that churches and other faith-based organizations play in providing essential services in health and education.

Hon. Ankomah further emphasized her commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring that her office remains a hub for creative thinkers and problem solvers from all walks of life, regardless of their religious beliefs or affiliations. She took her dedication to the people of the Pokukrom electoral area to the next level by visiting all six communities, where she reiterated her commitment to driving development and progress in the area.
