Oliver Barker-Vormawor’s lawyer is clarifying that the youth activist’s recent bribery claims on social media, targeting certain members of the Appointments Committee in Parliament, shouldn’t be misinterpreted as a direct attack on the entire Committee.

The lawyer wants to make it clear that the allegations are specifically aimed at individual members, not the committee as a whole.

Speaking during their appearance before the committee to answer questions on the allegation,on Wednesday, January 29, the counsel said,
“It is not directed at the Appointment Committee in any way.

It was completely not directed at the Appointment Committee, it is only intended to expose certain matters,” he explained.
“This distinction is important, as it highlights that the issue is with specific people, not the institution itself”.
