The university of Ghana through its public affairs directorate has issued a statement announcing a new increase in residential fees.
Level 100 students are expected to pay GHs 3000 for the academic year compared to last year where they payed 2,500.
Continuing students whose academic year begun in 2024 also have informed of a top-up on their residential fees by 500 cedis.
Speaking to some students of the university of Ghana they expressed their frustration about the situation to the media.
Students of the university of Ghana are appealing to the university management to reconsider their decision on the increment.
