The police in the Ashanti Region are investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a former chief in Kokoben, located in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District. They are currently working to track down the suspects involved.
Nana Okofrobuo Boateng was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds a few meters away from his home in Kokoben New Site on the evening of Wednesday, January 15.
According to reports, he was murdered by unknown assailants while returning home from work.
Nana Boateng’s family and friends suspect that his death may be a case of contract killing, as he had previously survived a similar attack last year.
