Dunkwa area Teachers Co-Operative Credit Union (DATCCU) in the Upper Denkyira East of the Central Region has renovated and commissioned the Educational Office located in the Municipality, which was previously in a deteriorating state.
During the ceremony, CEO of DATCCU, Emmanuel Kofi Obeng, spoke to the media and explained that the organization has a primary initiative called “Social Intervention” aimed at helping and giving back to society. This initiative motivated the renovation of the Municipal’s Education Office, with the goal of improving the education system in Upper Denkyira East.
Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Obeng encouraged Non-governmental Organizations and stakeholders in the municipality to also contribute to improving the Education Departments and other situations in diverse ways they can.
He also called on other banking institutions and individuals to extend their support to the society.
Mr. Anthony Takyi, the municipal Education director, expressed his excitement and gratitude, promising to ensure the safety of the new office and its contents.
