The Ghana Highway Authority (GHA), on behalf of the Ministry of Roads and Highways, has announced a major maintenance project on the Apedwa-Ejisu section of the N6 highway.
According to the authority, in a statement issued by the Public Affairs Division, maintenance activities are important to improve the road’s riding quality and extend its service life.
The Ghana Highway Authority noted that some sections of the road will experience lane closures during the maintenance period.
“This will lead to reduced speeds and possible delays. The contractors shall put adequate traffic management measures on the road. Motorists are advised to observe all the traffic management protocols for safe passage,” part of the statement read.
The Ghana Highway Authority also urged the public and motorists to cooperate with the changes as they work to ensure safety and restore normal traffic flow.
