Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia during his campaign tour in the Upper Denkyira East on Wednesday 26th September, outlined notable solutions to high electricity cost in the Country.
He said he will inject 2000mgt of solar power in the system which will reduce electricity cost of 50%.
According to him, he will introduce solar power to generate electricity.
The Vice President while addressing party members and the general public noted that as part of creating more jobs for the youth,he will initiate a policy called Buy Ghana First.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia said, this initiative is to discourage import by government therefore anything government want, the contract will be given to the companies in Ghana.
This will help the manufacturers to get more revenues and pay taxes for the development of the country.
