Municipal Chief Executive for the Upper Denkyira East Municipality, Hon. Ebenezer Appiah Forson in an interview with Chief Justice on Denkyiraman radio’s National Agenda on Monday, 26th August has confirmed the arrival of the Municipality’s share of the National Drip Program.
Hon. Appiah Forson with gratitude said the Assembly has been given pieces of equipment which include a Back hole, Wheel loader, Water Tanker, Roller and Grader, together with a Tipper Truck which is on its way to the Assembly.
He continued that the government has set up a committee which includes Men in the Army at the Regional and District level together with a Technical Committee and Management team, whose duties will be solely responsible for the safety and maintenance of the equipment.
This gesture comes amidst President Nana Akuffo Addo’s quest to provide equipment to ensure the improvement of Districts and Municipal Roads, thus the launching of the “District Road Improvements Programme” (DRIP).
