President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the appointment of Nana Kwadwo Dwemoh Benneh as the Chief Executive of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund. The appointment is in accordance with Section 25 (2) of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Act, 2014 (877).
In a letter signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, and dated 9th May 2024, President Akufo-Addo congratulated Nana Kwadwo Dwemoh Benneh on his appointment and requested him to indicate his acceptance or otherwise of the appointment within 14 days of receipt of the letter.
About Nana Kwadwo Dwemoh Benneh
Nana Kwadwo Dwemoh Benneh is a seasoned banker with over fifteen years of experience in the banking industry. He joined UMB after working briefly with Merchant Bank Limited and later on Barclays Plc’s International Business Leadership Programme. While with Barclays, he held various management roles across several countries in Africa and the UK. In 2003, he was appointed as Director of the SME Local Business Segment for Barclays Africa, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
