The chief executive officer (CEO) of Dunkwa Area Teachers’ Co-Operative Credit Union (DATCCU) Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Obeng, has admonished members to keep faith with the Union and increase shares and savings to make the union stronger and viable.
Dunkwa Area Teachers’ Co-operative Credit Union which was formed in 1975 with a total membership of 63 is now the leading credit union in the Central region with special products and Services.
Mr. Emmanuel Obeng made this observation during an interaction with Management of Denkyiraman Radio at his office.He charged members of DATCCU to make regular savings to make the bank stronger, and urged members to pay their loans regularly for others to benefit.
According to Mr. Obeng, the union through the use of Technology, has introduced modern ways of banking for its customers and staff such as the DATCCU Mobile Susu Collection etc.All these technologies he believes has made banking easier for customers and staff.
According to him, DATCCU is currently the leading credit union in central region, and the fourth fastest growing and well organized credit Union in Ghana, and the highest shareholder among others.
In Conclusion, Mr. Emmanuel Obeng pledged the union will continue to render good services to the good people of Upper Denkyira East and West, Amenfi East and Ghana as a whole.
