The Electricity company of Ghana in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service has arrested over 10 suspected people involved in illegal connection and fake meter inatallation in Central Region.
The operation which led to the arrest of the Chief of Gomoa Nyanyano took place in the communities of Kasoa, Buduburama, Fetteh Kakraba, Fetteh, Akotsi and Ngleshi Amanfrom respectively.

ECG told the media that this operation was carried out to curb frequent illegal connections and wrongful installation of meters, as well as to serve as a deterrent to individuals involved in illegal Electrical Activities.
