The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Wassa Amenfi East in the Western Region, Hon. Ernest Frimpong (Costaro) has donated 150 bags of Rice, Oil, drinks and other food items to Mosques and Muslim communities around Wassa Pewuako, Oppong Valley and Bebianiha, in Amenfi East Municipality.
Hon. Ernest as part of the Idul-Adha celebrations donated the food items to the Muslim leadership in these communities as he asked them for their fervent prayers to Allah for protection and guidance through his endeavors.
He again asked them to Support him through his campaign and quest for MP in the coming general elections.
The PC again asked the leaders to choose one of their own, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia;
“For the first time after Ghana gained independence, we’d be swearing in a president using the Quran and this would be historic after many Christians have come to take the mantle of Presidency”, he expressed his hope.
He added that he’s had many Muslim leaders asking him to support in building Arabic schools in their communities and he’s urging them to vote for a leader( Bawumia ) who is a Muslim and would have their needs at heart.
Hon. Ernest ended his visit to the mosque with a word of prayer from the Imam and much gratitude from the Muslim families for the kindness shown to them.
