The Lady Mart’s foundation in collaboration with Denkyiraman Radio together with Asaase Yaa and Friends Network organized a skill training for the people of Dunkwa On-Offin and its enclave on Saturday, 18th of May 2024.
The one-day training session took place at the Municipal Assembly Hall with 200 people represented in different sessions.
The 200 people which included 30 widows, learned soap making, bead making, ice cream and local drink making.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Upper Denkyira East Constituency, Hon. Ebenezer Appiah Forson graced the occasion as he advised that the attendees take the training seriously.
He added that in three months, people who’d utilize the occasion would be given some amount to invest in their efforts.
Attendees were happy about the initiative, they thanked the organizers for such a great idea to create jobs for them to better their future.
Trainers from Asaase Yaa and Friends Network also appreciated the comportment of the trainees as they described the occasion as smooth and successful
