A man named Francis Asamoah, popularly known as Yaw-wi and aged 46-year-old has allegedly been killed in Kwasibenkrom in the Bethlehem electoral area, a suburb of the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal.
Report from the wife of the deceased Francis Asamoah has it that the husband before his untimely demise, took the lead to their farm as always while she stayed back home to make food and send it to him on the farm later.
Upon reaching the farm and searching, the husband was nowhere to be found, she returned home to inform their neighbours for assistance in reaching her husband.
Francis Asamoah after a long search was later found dead with bruises all over his body, indicating that he was murdered.
Hon.Samuel Abugri, the Assemblyman for the Bethlehem Electoral Area, confirmed that the wife of the deceased came to him together with some residents of Kwesibenkrom to report the missing man.
He ordered a search team to look for him but all efforts proved futile, only to later hear that he’s been found dead.
He explained further that the unfortunate situation looked more like a murder act than usual.
However, the body of Francis Asamoah has been deposited at the Bibiani morgue while the police looks for lead as investigation is ongoing.
