The Denkyira Traditional Council in the Central Region through its educational fund, is set to offer scholarships to students who are natives of Denkyira to enable them to further their Education at the tertiary level.
The Denkyira Traditional Council, known for its commitment towards education and community development, has disclosed an initiative underway to support students through scholarships.
The council aims at providing financial assistance to deserving yet vulnerable students facing financial constraints in pursuing their education.
The Chairman of the Denkyira Traditional Council Educational Scholarship Committee, Nana Ntobonkye III, stated in an interview noted that the main goal of the educational fund is to prioritise quality education for the local masses as part of the strategic planning towards development.
“It is believed that nurturing and developing the youth’s essential abilities, knowledge, and useful technological skills will significantly improve Denkyira’s development chances.
Nana Ntobonkye III, however, calls on leaders, stakeholders and the entire Denkyiraman, both domestically and beyond, to contribute to educational funds and make the initiative a success.
