Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East Constituency has said that as part of the potentialities for the youth in football in Dunkwa.His integrated development plan will include adding a school to the already existing resource center to enable the youth who have the edge to be professional footballers start from there.
Dr. Festus said the zonal areas has good parks but Dunkwa has limited parks, thus the need to create a community park.
He added that there are no lands at the moment but the Methodist church at kyekyewere has offered a virgin land which is being prepared, as trees are being cleared and all the necessary clearances for the next step as to whether it will be an Astroturf or grassed.
Hon. Festus concluded that the town of Kyekyewere is big and is a potential district in future if need be, therefore it’s appropriate to make availability of developmental infrastructure.
