Sarkodie, known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo together with Nigeria’s famous singer Davido has consoled black star captain Andre Dede Ayew following Ghana’s exit from the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
Dede Ayew in his video on instagram apologized on behalf of the players and acknowledged that the team had an embarrassing performance,” I would like to for the result of the AFCON that we exited. We should have gotten a better result and as a captain of the squad, I take full responsibility for what happened on the pitch for the playing body”.
Sarkordie on instagram reacting to Dede Ayew’s emotional apology to Ghanaians stated that Ghanaians appreciate the Skipper’s efforts.” You love your country and we love and appreciate you king. We can be in our feelings because of how attached we are when we see the flag but trust me, we are grateful for your efforts”. Sarkodie said these words in Ayew’s comment section on Instagram.
Davido on the other side added his back tap saying “ Nothing spoil Baba, everything is fine, despite the results”. Aside from the two big personalities, some citizens who are still hurt said they will not accept the apology.
