Popular Acclamation for Hon. Dr. Festus Awuah Kwoffie was held by the Upper Denkyira East Constituency NPP executives and Elders, today 25th January 2024 at the Catholic Parish hall in Dunkwa. Hon. Dr. Festus Awuah addressed the conference and stated some of his achievements so far in his almost ended first term in office. “ The NPP has the “men”, courageous people who have toiled for the survival and success of the party and country at large” he said.
The honorable member stated that the ordinary citizens in the country can enjoy free healthcare, free education and school feeding program, free maternity care etc, today all thanks to NPP and Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo’s government.
He said Upper Denkyira East which is his constituency hasn’t been left out of the NPP government’s social interventions through himself and his colleague the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ebenezer Forson Appiah.
He added that roads like Dunkwa to Denkyira Kyekyewere to Badoa had always been bad yet left unattended to until the NPp came to fix it.
Not long ago areas such as compound to Abesewa, in Dunkwa were no go places for commercial drivers in Dunkwa due to bad roads but with the aid of the NPP government, the roads are now motorable, he lamented.
Hon. Dr Festus Awuah kwofie also highlighted on the many projects he has done in the last three as the Member of Parliament for his constituents. From the number of youths he has helped recruited in the military and other sectors of developmental projects like the current ongoing DVLA office at Dunkwa motel, schools, CHPS compound in various communities, three story assembly hall, existing network availability in some areas like Zion number 2, Buabin, Pokukrom, Amoafo, Imbraim, etc. all in his three years of office.
He seek for the usual support of the Npp executives, delegates and party members to keep him motivated and inspired to do more.
He also urged them to hope for greater things and more developments in the one year left and other terms to come.
Hon. Festus thanked the NPP executive and party people for believing in him and giving him another chance to continue his leadership.
The NPP Upper Denkyira East constituency’s first vice chairman, Hon. Richmond Nii Duodu who was present at the conference, seized the opportunity to encourage everyone present and representing the party and Hon. Dr. Festus Awuah kwoffie to set aside all grievances and anger in all circumstances and rather help the lawmaker in diverse ways to make him win the “battle” ahead in the general elections.
He said if the NPP should loose in the upcoming 2024 elections, there’ll be consequences for the party and the people. He concluded that every individual should use their strength and power to support Vice president Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Dr Festus Awuah for the party to gain victory.
