Member of Parliament for Upper Denkyira East Constituency and also Minister for Employment and Labor Relations, Dr.Festus Awuah Kwofie,donated GHC20,000 and 100 Trade Pans to the Dunkwa Main Lorry Station Association during their launching ceremony on Saturday, 27th July, 2024 at the Assemblies of God Church of Dunkwa Offin.
Dr. Festus addressing the occasion, said the Association will help them a lot in terms of going for a loan in a bank as they form a united front as a group.
He adviced that they see to it that loan debts are paid on time to avoid situations of mismanagement and mistrust.
He took the opportunity to applaud the association for thier understanding and cooperation when they
were asked to vacate the market center for renovation.
Dr.Festus also promised that he’d see to a speed and early completion of the ongoing project of the new Ultra-modern market, to enable them move back to work as soon as possible.
Miss Victoria Ofori who is part of the executives of the association, expressed gratitude to the Member of Parliament on behalf of the Association.
