INUSAH FUSEINI SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED OVER PROPERTIES IN DUBAI WORTH 7.2 MILLION DOLLARS.

The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) has cited Inusah Fuseini owning 20 properties in Dubai worth over 7.2 million dollars. Inusah Fuseini is the former Minister of Roads and Highways in the Mahama administration. He has also held the position of Minister of Lands and Natural Resources.
The OCCRP is one of the largest Investigative Journalism Organizations in the world. It has staff across six continents with hubs in Washington D.C. and Amsterdam.

In a report by OCCRP, titled “How Dirty Money Finds a Home in Dubai Real Estate” published in May 2024, the report looked at politicians and suspected criminals from all over the world hiding their loot in Dubai by investing in Real Estate. Dubai’s Real estate is one of the hottest in the world and has served as a haven for some of the world’s criminals and politicians. Its financial secrecy makes it an appealing spot for those looking to hide funds abroad safely.

INUSAH FUSEINI
In the report, the full name of Inusah is given as Inusah Abdulla Bistav Fuseini with his picture on the page. Properties he is reported to be the owner in Dubai are:

  1. Jumeirah Village Triangle- 5 properties
  2. Wyndham Dubai Marina – 2 properties
  3. Millennium Palace ————- 4 apartments
  4. Jumeirah Village Cycle——–3 apartments
  5. One Hotel ———————2 Apartments
  6. Sky City Central Hotel———-4 Apartments
  7. Total ——————————–20 The twenty apartments have a total value of seven million, two hundred and four thousand, and four hundred dollars. ($7,204,400.00)
Inusah, as expected, had denied the report, saying he does not even know Jumeirah in Dubai, He claims the report is an attempt to deflect attention to former Ministers of State.

Mr. Asaga, a former Minister of State was also mentioned in the report as owner of a 133,000 dollar- property. He has confirmed ownership of such a property in Dubai. He, however, stated that he had acquired it legally. Mr. Asaga says that, given his 30-year career which includes significant roles at Ecobank, and positions as Deputy Minister of Finance and Minister of Employment, he was in a position to acquire a property worth $133,000. I believe what Mr. Asaga is saying.

OCCRP is a reputable international organization. Their report is very detailed and looks credible.
Mr. Asaga has confirmed the information in the report about his ownership of a property to be true. I think that the OCCRP report is very credible and should be acted on.
Mr. Inusah Fuseini should be investigated. This is about alleged corruption by a former Minister of State. State Institutions like the Special Prosecutor and the EOCO should investigate Inusah Fuseini.
