A tragic Accident has claimed 7 lives on the Kumasi to Techiman stretch, at Asouso, in the Offinso North District of the Ashanti Region at 9pm on 25th June.
According to reports, three cars headed to Techiman from Kumasi on a speed limit collided, with 5 people dying instantly and two who were injured and rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment also died.
Meanwhile, One car among the three cars, had people who were seriously injured and have been receiving treatment in the hospital.
Residents of Asouso are entreating anyone whose family members left home to embark on a journey to Techiman, using the Kumasi, Offinso road and has since not returned, to come and identify the bodies to make sure of taking their victims to their respective homes.
Nana Ansah who reported to the media stated that the victims of the Accident who were injured have been taken to Kenkensu Hospital in the Offinso North District.
