Parliamentary Candidate for the Amenfi East Constituency of the Western Region, Hon. Ernest Frimpong (Costaro) together with some party members and executives met with National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) officials for a “sod cutting” ceremony for the construction of an ultramodern NHIA office in the municipality.
Hon. Frimpong on Denkyiraman Radio’s National Agenda explained that the old office was formerly a Red Cross office but was temporarily handed over to the NHIA to be used as an administrative office, thus the need for a new permanent and spacious office.
He added that measures had been underway for months now, as the honorable Municipal Chief Executive helped in securing a land for the building to be raised on.
The District Manager for the National Health Insurance Authority, Mr.Isaac Cudjoe expressed his gratitude for the initiative of an Ultramodern Office to enhance the health insurance program in the Municipality, while he acknowledged the importance for such a project from a parliamentary candidate.
Hon. Ernest Frimpong when asked about his source of help in undergoing all his projects, he replied with excitement saying God, passion for the work of serving the masses and his god-father, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has been behind his efforts and success in achieving what the people asks from him.
Finally, he promised more infrastructural projects and reforms to improve developments in Amenfi East.
