NPP Vice Chairman Bismarck Akowuah Secures NLA Support for New 6-Unit Classroom in Sampsonkrom

First Vice Chairman for the New Patriotic Party and former Assembly member for Sampsonkrom electoral area in the Obuasi East Municipality, Hon. Bosmarck Akowuah has lobbied with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for the building of a 6 unit classroom with Offices to be built for the Sampsonkrom community.

The project is a promise which was made by Hon. Akowuah during his time as the Assembly member in 2016.

In an interview with Denkyiraman radio, Hon. Bismarck explained that the school was formerly built and named after former First Lady Madam Theresah Kuffuor of blessed memory, but was abandoned with no students.

However, Hon. Bismarck seeing the structure in a deteriorating condition, lobbied for it to be rebuilt and functioned for the people in the community to benefit from.

A sod-cutting session was done with representatives from the NLA and NPP reps, and a contractor was assigned to commence work immediately.

Hon. Akowuah said he’s looking forward to bringing more infrastructural projects to help raise Obuasi East to where it should be.
