Man Allegedly Poisoned During Naming Ceremony At Ajumako

A man named Kojo Aquaye, believed to be in his early thirties (30s) has been allegedly poisoned to death at a Christening ceremony of his friend at Ajumako Abrofoa in the Ajumako Enyan Essiasm District of the Central Region.

Reports states that the deceased Aquaye Kojo was invited by friends to the ceremony, where he took lots of drinks.

Kojo Aquaye is known to be a notorious thief in the Ajumako Abrofoa town.

However, after intake of several rounds of drinks and food, he collapsed and started foaming.
Residents gathered at the ceremony rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead as all his intestines were damaged due to the poison.

Meanwhile, the families of Kojo are seeking justice for their son because they believe, he was killed by his friends.

The Ajumako police command has taken up the case and the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
