The Municipal Chief Executive for Upper Denkyira East Municipality, Hon. Ebenezer Appiah Forson has disclosed that very soon the Driver and Vehicle License Authority (DVLA) Dunkwa on Offin branch will start registering vehicles and motorcycles in the municipality.
The MCE in an exclusive interview with denkyiraman radio reporter Nana Akua Boateng, said that the prefix license code for the municipality will be Central North “CN” as compared with the existing “AB,AS,” etc.
Hon. Appiah Forson’s statement was based on developmental progress to take place in the municipality. Before this assurance was reached the municipality, vehicle owners, drivers and vehicle care takers had to travel all the way to Cape coast, Kumasi, Obuasi to license their vehicles.
On his part Mr. John Donkor, the vehicle examiner at the Driver and Vehicle License Authority (DVLA) in Upper Denkyira East municipal said the Authority is fully ready and awaiting commencement of the registration.
