The member of parliament for upper Denkyira East Constituency, Dr. Festus Awuah Kwofie, has commissioned three newly constructed boreholes in three communities, namely: Buabin Camp, Denkyira Fosu and Badoa No2 all in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency in the Central Region. The Lawmaker, during the commission stated that he constructed the boreholes to serve as a source of portable water supply for the communities, after he had toured the various communities and seen their challenges. The honorable member said he promised to take care of it in his first term of office which he fulfilled on 1 st February, 2024.
He noted that as a leader and a son of Denkyira, he will make sure that development is in abundance in the constituency and Denkyira in his reign will never lack opportunities.
Some Chiefs and elders in the three communities speaking with Denkyiraman Radio Online commended Hon. Festus Awuah for his usual response to situations that need attention in their areas respectively. They applauded him and as usual urged the people of their town to support his efforts and vote for him when the time is due for the general elections.
On the other side, residents who were extremely overwhelmed by Hon. Dr Festus Awuah Kwoffie’s unending help sang praises and showed their gratitude for the boreholes, as drinking and usage of portable water has been a key problem in their homes and communities for a long period.
