The 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League Champions Medeama SC has booked its place in the group stage of the CAF Champions League competition.
With the Yellow and Mauve guys kicking out Remo Stars of Nigeria in the first preliminary playoffs stage, they took on Guinean side Horoya AC as they won 4-3 aggregate in their maiden edition of the tournament.
Medeama SC went into the second half with a 3-1 advantage at home where they managed to pull a 2-1 loss today in Guinea.
The Betpawa Premier League defending Champions will be awaiting their opponents for the group stages of the competition. Medeama SC becomes the first Ghanaian club to qualify for CAF Champions League GS for the first time since 2012.
