The Municipal Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi East Municipality, Hon. Frederick Korankye (Adwumawura) has visited the municipal office of the Electoral Commission in Wassa Akropong to monitor the ongoing voter registration exercise.
The MCE Hon. Frederick Korankye called on all eligible voters in the municipality, including those who have just turned eighteen (18) years old and adults who have not yet registered to take advantage of the ongoing limited voter registration exercise to get registered.
Hon. Frederick Korankye further appealed to the political parties and the general public to cooperate with the Electoral Commission to ensure a successful exercise and also encouraged the residents to participate in the exercise and follow the laid down processes by the commission to enable them to have peaceful exercise.
Hon. Frederick Korankye took the opportunity to share food and yoghurt drink with the youth who were present at the Electoral Commission’s office today.
Hon. Frederick Korankye was accompanied by Amenfi East NPP Constituency Chairman, Nana Kofi Amankwah, Elections and Research officer, Mr. Ebenezer Nyan Takyi, Constituency youth organizer Kwaku Duah and Asikafo Amantem Electoral Area coordinator Atta-Payin.
