It’s that time of the season again when our screens will be graced with some mouthwatering games as the 2023/2024 Betpawa Premier League season is set to kick start.
Starting tonight is Hearts of Oak visiting Tamale-based club Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium in Tamale for the matchday 1 opening fixture of the Season to kick start the Premier League season.
With all the clubs improving the quality of their squad ahead of the season, we are hoping to have a blissful opening fixture tonight.
With the Phobians having a nightmare at this venue last season after tasting a heavy defeat in the second-leg encounter against Real Tamale United, will hope to change the narrative as they start their new Campaign under new Dutch manager Martin Koopman and some great additions to the squad, whereas Real Tamale United will hope to repeat that fate for the start of the season.
With the Tamale-based side winning the last four meetings, and the support of the fan base, Real Tamale United will be a force to reckon with.
The action however continues tomorrow through to Sunday and later returns on Wednesday.
